As industries, data centers, critical facilities, and research infrastructures continue their transition towards cleaner and more resilient energy systems, managing multiple energy sources efficiently has become a major challenge.
To address this challenge, CE+T Power is proud to contribute to the SCOPE project, a collaborative initiative connected to the Einstein Telescope ecosystem, one of Europe’s most ambitious scientific infrastructure projects. The project has recently been approved and funded, bringing together industrial and academic partners to develop innovative solutions for energy management, digitalization, and infrastructure integration.
Managing Complex Energy Ecosystems
Modern facilities increasingly rely on a combination of energy sources and storage technologies, including utility grids, solar generation, battery storage, hydrogen systems, and critical electrical loads. Ensuring these assets operate together efficiently requires intelligent energy management capable of coordinating multiple technologies in real time.
Within the SCOPE project, CE+T Power will provide its Prisma energy management platform combined with integrated battery storage technology. The solution is expected to connect and manage multiple assets, including grid connections, photovoltaic systems, batteries, hydrogen storage (electrolysers & fuel cells), and AC and DC loads.
Advancing Hybrid Energy Storage Management
One of the key areas of interest within the project is the development and validation of advanced hybrid energy storage management strategies.
By combining batteries with other storage tehcnologies such as hydrogen systems, future energy infrastructures can improve flexibility, resilience, and overall efficiency.
